  • Condition: Color has naturally darkened from age, possible use. The circles on inside are likely shadows from something-guessing candles resting there for awhile?-It has uneven scattered black spots, watermarks, spotting on front and back- solder has darkened. Some like to polish copper with copper polish or ketchup but most prefer the aged patina it naturally acquired imperfections and all. It has “MRB” maker’s mark inscribed in back, lower edge along with the sweet inscription about hearts noted in the above description!     , 12 inch HEART
    COPPER CAKE PAN
    Coppersmith Michael Bonne
    signed the back of this 2 ½ in deep pan with rolled top and bottom edges with:
    “
    Once you’ve found a goodly heart,  from it you should never part MRB ’89.”
    M. Bonne made copper cutters for Martha Stewart, several catalogs, Cape Cod copperworks, Country Living magazine  and his own businesses. Various size and shape copper cake pans are just a few of the items he made in addition to his best known items, the cookie cutters.
    HEART CAKE PAN Is heavy, solid and 12 inches across, 2 ½” deep. It has “MRB” maker’s mark inscribed in back, lower edge along with the inscription using an etching tool.
    There is a tiny copper loop soldered to the top/back so you can hang it on the wall to display too!
    CONDITION:
