What can anyone say about good art?  It is truly a sight to behold.  Celebrated artist, Dave Barnhouse captures the essence of American beauty in one glorious scene.    Gaze at this picture long enough and you too will be able to hear the sounds so elegantly represented here.
A light rustle of wind makes the tree branches scrape the old tin roof, the delicate flap of Old Glory keeping beat, the faint crackle of folks wheeling up to Dorsey's general store to make their few purchases.  Stare a little longer and you can hear the quiet hum of the electricity feeding the lifeblood of that sacred gathering place.  Indeed, it looks like a perfect fall day in Georgia.  It might be another flyover state to you, but to millions of red-blooded Americans, it is a way of life.  It's getting on to evening and the cool winds will be coming in soon.  These 4 friends will be moseying on down the road soon; right after this next soda or this next fishing tale.  This is what dreams are made of.
This is a lovely commemorative edition of the celebration of Harley Davidson's 95th year!  There is not much greater than the smooth ride of a Harley and it should always be celebrated.  From 1903-1998, at this great hallmark, the Harley name can be counted on and revered as the true American spirit.
This signed copy is number 1491 of 2450.  The numbering and signature appears to be in silver marker.  The placard on the back shares more detailing of the artist and print making technique.
This artwork is expertly framed and has been closet kept.  It desperately needs to be showcased in the proper space.  Your proper place!
Measurements are approximate: 35 1/2 inches wide and 25 inches tall.  There are 3 stacked mats and the special Harley Davidson official commemorative plate inset into the matting.  The back of this artwork is sealed with artists paper backing, with several signifying tags.  The framing is of a black or Jacobean dark brown coloring.  and the matting toggles between gray and black.
There are no imperfections in this piece of art; not wobbles or warps in the print.  There is one small dent in the paper backing, near the bottom.
