    Description

    Rare Japanese Meiji Cloisonne Brush Stand - brush pot.
    Very rare Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) Cloisonné brush stand. It is decorated with a scene of a boy and bats over flower bushes on one side, two pigeons on a fence and floral decoration on another side, and symbolic birds on both sides of the brush stand.
    It is mounted on original brass patinated legs, and has an uneven enameling on the interior.

    It has a few hairlines, no losses of enamel, no damages and no restorations.
