The Explorer 2 Tent is designed for minivans and SUVs with a lift-gate. The Camper Top Tents come in two sizes for trucks with camper tops (caps). The Camper Tops Tents also fit some SUVs with a tailgate rather than lift-gate. These tents are ideal for vacationing, outdoor activities, fishing, hunting, tailgating, surfing, tenting, and canoeing.
The Explorer 2 and Camper Top Tents compliment any outdoor activity by providing a comfortable please to sleep during a weekend getaway or an extended vacation. For a day outing, the tents offer a place or a quick knap or store food and equipment for quick access. They are great for tailgating at sports events when food needs to be protected from bugs and inclement weather. The Explorer 2 and Camper Top Tents add greatly to campers “creature comforts” by adding more available space inside the vehicle. Fold the tent outer panels back to provide a cool breeze during those warm nights, while enjoying a great view of the outdoors through the screened rear panels.
Close the outer door panels for privacy or protection during inclement and cold weather. Enjoy all these benefits while the no-see-um insect screen protects you from the bugs. DAC, Inc. was established in 1987. The goal was to introduce a new product called the Camper Top Tent which allows sportsmen to enjoy the outdoors while using their vehicle as an “off the ground, away from creepy-crawlers” camping unit.
The intention was to produce this original product using quality materials and workmanship. We have based our company on this premise. Customer feedback has confirmed we have achieved this goal.
